Over pricing is a usual and easy way/style of corruption by the high officials. At 27 pesos per face mask and 120 pesos for face shield is very obvious overpricing. Now the prevailing whole sale price is 1 peso face mask and 10 pesos for face shield. Even assuming 2020 it would not go beyond 5 pesos and 20 pesos at the manufacturer/supplier for face mask and face shield respectively. Usec. Lao would not do it without the full approval of Sec. Duque. Or Usec Lao just received the order to do it.
